Richard Davis

​I grew up in Compton, California where I found myself drawing faces and bodies at a young age. I was not enrolled in many studio art classes growing up, however music kept me alive and my interest in art grew throughout my senior year of high school and college years. I graduated high school in 2009 from Verbum Dei High School and I'm currently on course to graduate from St. John's University the College of St. Benedict in 2013 with a BA in Studio Art and a minor in Communications, where my knowledge in communications influence my content in art.

I am studying photography, video, graphic design, and I've taken some drawing classes. Taking many classes in communications allowed me to understand the structure of our society and how we impart knowledge and interact as human beings. After graduating college I am planning to move back to California to thoroughly focus in on my craft and challenge myself to get better everyday and find new ways to express myself.
